Hi, I’m Defne — an independent maker based in Istanbul, Türkiye. I create jewelry, ceramics, and small objects in limited batches, and every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly the same.

Everything I make belongs to the same little fairytale world. I’m inspired by nature — flowers, butterflies, fruits, shells — all the soft, sweet, slightly nostalgic things. I like the idea that each piece feels like it came from that world, even if it’s just a small detail.

Some pieces are more like tiny talismans, others are just meant to make you smile. I’m always thinking about how something can feel personal, playful, and a bit magical at the same time.
